Experience Matters. So Does Understanding.

Picture of Kim Haney

For nearly three decades, I have worked with families during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. I have watched parents struggle to make decisions about their children, couples navigate the end of a marriage, and families search for a way forward when communication seems impossible.

Those years have taught me something important: Not every disagreement needs to become a battle, and not every family needs a courtroom to find a solution.

I believe people deserve the opportunity to be heard, to explore their options, and to make thoughtful decisions about their futures.

My role as a mediator is not to choose sides or decide who is right. It is to create a respectful environment where difficult conversations can become productive ones, differences can be explored, and agreements can begin to take shape.

Because the goal isn't simply to settle a dispute. It's to help people move forward.

A Different Way Forward

Not every disagreement needs a courtroom. And not every difficult conversation needs to become a battle.

Mediation offers an opportunity to step away from conflict and focus on what matters most—finding practical solutions, preserving dignity, and making thoughtful decisions about the future.

At Nomad Mediator, we understand that behind every disagreement are real people, real concerns, and often years of shared history.

Our role is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to help people communicate, explore possibilities, and work toward agreements they can live with.

Because moving forward doesn't have to mean fighting your way there.
